Detailed Itinerary (Lunch)

Pick up from your hotel by our private tour guide and drive to the Shichahai Hutong area. Seated in rickshaw, pass though the beautiful Qianhai lake area, the reputed Silver Ingot Bridge (Yindingqiao), the well-preserved Yandaixiejie commercial street and then come to the Houhai Lake area where many characteristic bars can be seen. Finally, we follow the traces of old Beijing in the old narrow Hutong alleys and drop in at a local Hutong family who live in a courtyard house (Siheyuan in Chinese), the typical residence of old Beijingers. Appreciate the ancient courtyard while learning about Hutong people’s daily life. At last, return to the start point there by rickshaw.

Next, see the cute pandas in Beijing Zoo, and then move on to the Lama Temple, the imperial Buddhist temple receiving thousands of prayers every day.

Transfer you back to hotel. End of our service.
