Detailed Itinerary (Lunch)

Pick you up from hotel by our tour guide & driver, and then drive to the old Beijing area. Rickshaw trip shall be a fresh experience for you. Visit the Drum Tower, a good observation deck for the old Hutong area. Next stop is the Silver Ingot Bridge, a well-known ancient bridge as one of the reputed most beautiful scenery in Beijing. Then enter the Yandaixiajie old commercial street where remains the bustle as before. Pass through the old Hutong alleys to follow the foot steps of old Beijingers, and then drop in at a local Hutong family and appreciate their courtyard house (Siheyuan), the typical residence style of old Beijing people. The last stop is the Former Residence of Song Qingling, a legendary female in China of the past century. Song Qingling is the wife of Sun Yat-sen and the first and the only honorary president in PRC.

Temple of Heaven was the altar temple where Chinese emperors held sacrifice ceremonies to pray heaven for a good harvest. It is a magnificent temple, even larger than the Forbidden City.

Be transferred back to hotel after the tour.
