Detailed Itinerary (Lunch)

Pick up from your hotel by our private tour guide and drive to the Mutainyu Great Wall, the most spectacular section of Great Wall and less crowded.

Drive back downtown to the Shichahai Hutong area. Seated in rickshaw, pass though the beautiful Qianhai lake area, the reputed Silver Ingot Bridge (Yindingqiao), the well-preserved Yandaixiejie commercial street and then come to the Houhai Lake area where many characteristic bars can be seen. Finally, we follow the traces of old Beijing in the old narrow Hutong alleys and drop in at a local Hutong family who live in a courtyard house (Siheyuan in Chinese), the typical residence of old Beijingers. Appreciate the ancient courtyard while learning about Hutong people’s daily life. At last, return to the start point there by rickshaw.
