Detailed Itinerary (Lunch)
Pick up from your hotel by our private tour guide and drive to Hutong area. Get on the rickshaw at Qianhai Lake area, head to the Drum Tower, the time service center of ancient Beijing 700 years ago; standing on the top of the tower, have a bird’s view of the old Beijing city area. Pass through Hutong alleys, then Shichahai Lakeshore, and then get off at Silver Ingot Bridge which is well-known as a view point for the beautiful scenery of West Mountains. Walk into Yandaixiejie Street, an old commercial street that retains well, then arrive in the reputed bar street full of characteristic bars. Have a stroll in the Hutong alleys to follow the traces of old Beijing, drop in at a local Hutong family who live in the courtyard (Siheyuan), the typical residence of old Beijingers.
Move on to the glorious Forbidden City palace and the Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world and the symbol of China.
Transfer you back to hotel. End of our service.
