Overview

Flowering House is an international youth hostel built on the basic of an ordinary traditional courtyard located in the famous old Hutong area of Beijing. The hostel is in the heart of Beijing, close to lots of scenic spots, including Lama Temple, Nanluoguxiang, Houhai, Forbidden City, Wangfujing, Tiananmen; banks, post office, restaurants are within walking distance. The trees in the yard are an attraction of the hostel. In summer, the two big trees like big umbrellas blocking the heat from sunshine that make the whole place cool and quiet; in autumn, trees are full of fruits; and in spring, various flowers blossom, hence the name of the hostel.
